AZ You Wish

Sherry was born in Zanesville, Ohio. She gained an appreciation for music at an early age, listening to her paternal grandfather play his fiddle with the local musicians. Her father was a talented vocalist and they enjoyed singing and harmonizing together. What started as being a member of a quartet and singing solos in school choirs soon led to becoming part of a high school rock band  performing at school dances. From there she started competing in the local talent competitions. Her family moved several times due to her father's job, taking her to North Carolina and then to Indiana. She was influenced by many genres of music.  It was in Indiana, in her early 20's, that a first-place win in Bloomington, Indiana gave her new opportunities in the music industry. She went on to open for such acts as Tanya Tucker, Dan Seals, Lorrie Morgan, Janie Fricke, and many others. Through all of this, she met many musicians and eventually a band was formed, one in which George Jones would hear and support.  However, changes in Sherry's personal life made it difficult for her to go out on the road, so she made the hard decision to walk away and concentrate on her family. A few years later, she had the opportunity to perform at the Little Nashville Opry in Nashville, Indiana as part of their local talent nights, but eventually she had to put her music career on the back burner for the sake of her family. Now, thirty years later, Sherry is excited to have met Tim and Bob, and performing with AZ You Wish.  

Tim Wagner grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and is the youngest of 6 siblings. The family's love for music inspired his love for the guitar and he started taking lessons at the age of 9. Within a year he began playing cover tunes of bands like The Monkeys and The Beach Boys with a friend who was learning to play drums. Being very involved in their local Catholic Church, the two boys often played hymns together for their youth masses. In High School, Tim found other musicians and started a Rock band. They played at school events for the next four years with cover tunes from bands like Grand Funk Railroad and Cream. The college years put everything on hold, but after graduation and moving to California, the music started up again. Finding musicians at his work, the band "Meanstreak" was formed. They started writing their own material and began playing gigs throughout the Bay Area, and recording at a local studio. This lasted for about 6 years until the pressure from working a full time corporate job, traveling and raising a family took priority. Several new bands would form over the next 25 years, playing occasional gigs. All would come to a halt in 2008 after retiring. 15 years would pass until moving to Saddlebrooke Ranch and meeting Sherry,  when in 2023 a new band would be formed, AZ You Wish.

Bob's is a lifelong drummer and musician coming from a musical family in Winchester Indiana. He received his first drum at the age of 3 and started playing drums with his mother on piano for local service clubs and charity events at the age of 5. The 1964 Beatles appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, featuring Ringo Starr on drums, left a lasting impression that steered  him firmly toward music and drumming. Bob.began taking private drum lessons at the age of 12 and went on to study percussion and music at Ball State University. His professional career has spanned decades and countless stages.  Among his most memorable performances is opening for Lady Antebellum (Lady A) at Red Rocks Amphitheater in front of 10,000 screaming fans in 2017.  Riding a gondola to the summit of Loveland Ski Resort to perform at 10,800 feet elevation for a wedding. In 2024 Bob and his wife Brenda move to Saddlebrook Ranch. As fate would have it, he soon connected with Tim and Sherry. From Indiana family stages to iconic venues and mountain-top performances, Bob continues to  live his lifelong dream behind the drums, driven by the same energy and love for music that first sparked in childhood.
